4 HOURS OF SANDING

Two partially sanded boards

And a whole lot of dust.

UNDERCOATED

The little Mc grigor twinnie

ANDREWS ALAIA

Built for Andrew Mooney.
7' x 16" x just under 3/4"
There is a slight taper toward the tail.
The rails are 6mm.
Western Red Cedar.
Linseed oil

TWIN TWINS

Both built on Sydneys Northern Beaches in the late 70's.
Both have little flyers just behind the fins.
Both have little keel type fins.
Both need restoring.

GETTING SOME UV's

After over a week of rain the sun came out .
Not for long, but long enough to do some glossing.
The old UV resin sure does speed things up.

REBONDED

Glass, resin and clamps.

READY TO REBOND

The nose on this board was badly delaminated.
Drilling and injecting was not an option.
So it was opened up around the apex of the rail.

SAM'S "SAM" ?

Looking at this board in the flesh. Was it based on Nat's
long lost Sam? Or were thing moving in that direction up and down the coast anyway?
